Hawthorne Elementary School: DeKalb County

Hawthorne Elementary School is located in Atlanta, Georgia and is one of 84 elementary schools in the DeKalb County School District. Nisewonger AV partnered with the school to design and install a 21st century media center space. We worked directly with the district and the school principal to make their “vision” come to life. The design includes flexible tables/chairs, a genius bar area designed for technology use, mobile and fixed bookcases, soft seating reading nooks, and sit/stand mobile tables for collaboration. It is a complete transformation!
As with all of our designs, we followed a detailed process through the initial “vision” meeting straight through to the final delivery and installation. Our team, led by Joshua Albertson, worked hand in hand with Principal Limoncelli to design and develop an amazing interior space that we can all be proud of!
We worked with quality furniture manufacturers, Media Technologies and VS America for this project.
